Troop 488 is a new Boy Scout Troop in Virginia Beach, Va.

The Troop was formed from boys bridging up from Pack 488 and several members of Troop 498.  Troop 498, which had no Cub Scout affiliation, will be retired in a ceremony in December.

The Troop membership is presently seven boys, they are:

Senior Patrol Leader - Daniel
Asst. Senior Patrol Leader - Joseph
Patrol Leader(Black Dragon Patrol) - Bryan
Asst. Patrol Leader(Black Dragon Patrol) - Steven
Members of the Black Dragons - Jonathan
